Primary Care Solutions provides industry-leading Primary Care services to Veterans. Veteran-led and clinician-managed, we deliver compassionate, expert medical care, establishing personal bonds with our Veterans in our Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC’s). RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Telehealth Technician, you will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming, and confidential environment for our Veterans who have served our country valiantly. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our nation's Veterans.
- Office hours are Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- No evenings, holidays, on-call, or weekends!
- This is a Full - Time position.
- Supports patient care delivery via telehealth onsite. This includes setting the veteran up with the telehealth provider, assisting remote provider in exam using peripheral instruments if necessary, setting up for follow up care as needed.
- Learns to use telehealth equipment and complete studies such as tele-dermatology and teleretinal exams once trained and certified.
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information in patient’s electronic medical record.
- Completes all clinical reminders due at the time of each visit as alerted in the electronic medical record.
- Obtains medical histories from patients; verifies patient information.
- Prepares, assists, and accurately completes all forms.
- Assists on-site providers during examinations and treatment.
- Performs ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (EKG, injections, blood draws, etc.) as trained and certified.
- Schedules clinic appointments, patient check-in and/or out of the clinic
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Current and active state Nursing License or RMA certificate.
- Graduate of an accredited certificate program
- Knowledge of computer systems to include the MS Office Suite
- Demonstrate high-quality customer service.
- Two years of continuous experience in clinical operations or medical office work post externship
- Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association®
