Job Summary
This role supports the Chief Medical Officer & Vice President by providing clinical leadership and oversight to ensure exceptional patient care and operational excellence. The Associate Medical Director acts as a key liaison between clinical teams, promoting best practices and fostering continuous improvement.
 
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical acumen, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a passion for mentoring providers. They will contribute to both direct patient care and the broader goals of the organization, working collaboratively to enhance patient outcomes and maintain the highest standards of medical practice. 
 
This position involves alternating work locations, with an average schedule of two weeks per month on site at a clinic and two weeks per month working remotely using video telehealth methods.  
 
Job Duties
  • Backup Chief Medical Officer in clinical and administrative tasks
  • Manage patient panel, handle messages, deliver clinical care
  • Collaborate with mid-level providers as needed
  • Review charts of physicians and mid-level staff
  • Train clinic providers as required
Education and Experience
  • MD or DO, actively board certified in Primary Care or Internal Medicine
  • Possess current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Complete all required TMS training requirements.
Licensing and Credentialing:
  Obtain and maintain an active Physician license in each state of practice.
  Maintain a valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration in each state of practice
  Obtain and maintain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
  Enroll in Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS).
 
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse healthcare settings to include in-clinic and remotely.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in coverage as needed.
  • Ability and desire to train provider staff

Up to $300k, $25,000 Signing Bonus + 10% Annual Incentive Pay
