RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Social Worker with Primary Care Solutions, you'll have the opportunity to serve our nation's Veterans with the same exceptional level of care our Veterans have shown while serving our country. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our nation's Veterans.
- Clinic hours Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm
- No evenings, holidays, on call, or weekends!
- This is a Part time position, remote options available.
- Conducts individual and group therapy.
- Refers veterans to community resources and other organizations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree, or higher, in Social Work from a program registered by the Department of Education is required, with specific training dealing with adult patients.
- Must comply with and maintain all requirements for a valid, unrestricted MSW (or equivalent) license in the state of desired employment, or in any U.S. state or territory, depending on VA contractual requirements.
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ post-master direct counseling experience with adult patients. Specific requirements could vary based on individual VA contract.
- Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (must be renewed periodically as specified by the certifying agency-AHA valid for two years, e.g.)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong computer skills, including EMR experience.
- Energetic and optimistic demeanor.
- This is considered a safety sensitive position.
