Construction Coordinator - Greenfield

Project Resources Group (PRG) seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator on our Greenfield Support team to drive our clients joint trench program activities for greenfield builds. The Greenfield Program Field Representative (GFR) serves as the essential link between active construction sites and the Greenfield Program Manager. This role balances technical data collection with high-touch relationship management to ensure infrastructure is built to specification and data remains accurate.

Project Monitoring & Data Integrity:
  • Active Joint Trench Monitoring: Conduct weekly site visits to monitor trench progress and provide real-time updates to the Program Manager.
  • Address Validation: Physically verify project addresses against GIS/database records to prevent downstream billing or serviceability errors.
  • Technical Documentation: Secure final electrical designs and "As-Built" drawings immediately upon completion to ensure digital maps match the physical ground.
  • H/VL Designation: Identify "Homes vs. Vacant Lots" on-site and update Sitetracker accordingly.
On-Site Operations & Coordination
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Attend or facilitate pre-construction meetings and coordinate with third-party vendors regarding material and crew readiness.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for onsite vendors to troubleshoot utility interference or delays.
  • Fill-In Tracking: Maintain a rolling 12-month status report to project when homes will be ready for final service activation.
Small-Scale Builder Relationship Management
  • Dedicated Liaison: Act as a "concierge" for builders, guiding them through the joint trench process.
  • Expectation Management: Provide realistic serviceability timelines to prevent "dry-house" scenarios where homes are finished without utility connections.

Strategic Oversight & Market Intelligence

  • Right-of-Way (ROW) Oversight: Verify that pedestals, vaults, and cabinets are placed within designated ROWs or easements to avoid future relocation costs.
  • Material Readiness: Audit onsite material stashes (conduit, pedestals) to ensure builders do not stall due to minor supply shortages.
