Job Summary
Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a highly analytical Operations Analyst in the Fort Collins, CO office. This is a hands-on role working directly with a Senior Operations Analyst in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will work closely with a Senior Operations Analyst in a highly collaborative, two-person team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using SQL and Power BI
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate large operational datasets
- Troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure accuracy across reporting pipelines
- Support ad hoc reporting requests from internal stakeholders and clients
- Analyze operational performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Maintain, improve, and automate reporting infrastructure as business needs evolve
- Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and automate workflows
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in business, finance, or related analytical field
- Strong understanding of the quantitative analytical methodology
- Experience with consulting/contract work
- Knowledge of database design and data structures
- Experience related to telecommunications or power & gas is a plus.
- 1-3 years of analyst or consulting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (writing queries, joins, aggregations, troubleshooting)
- Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI (or similar tools)
- Python a plus
- Google sheets a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with operational or claims-based data
- Familiarity with telecommunications or utility industries
- Experience with Python for automation or data processing
- Exposure to data pipelines, ETL processes, or data warehousing concepts
- Experience working in fast-paced or consulting environments
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ($60,000 - $70,000 based on experience), plus annual bonus potential. Along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
