Construction Project Manager
- Project Resources Group (PRG) is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager with a solid understanding of new build underground and brownfield construction to manage projects in the San Luis Obispo, California area. You will be responsible for field oversight of construction progress, quality control, and reporting. You must be proactive and have solid, positive communication skills.Responsibilities
- Oversee, track, and report on the progress and quality of work being performed by construction contractors.
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Keeps clients and others informed about project status and issues impacting client relations.
- Attend contractor meetings and calls as necessary.
- Implement new processes and procedures as set forth by the construction department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- A minimum of five (5) years in cable/telecommunications construction and project management.
- Must have FTTH construction project experience.
- Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive attitude.
- The candidate must be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to communicate with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform with high professionalism.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, along with G-Suite and Microsoft Office programs.
- Valid driver’s and satisfactory driving record required.
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for business use (federal mileage rate for reimbursement).
- Overtime may be required at times based on the volume of work.
Compensation & Benefits
- We offer competitive annual pay ($114,400-$145,600 annually depending upon experience) along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:
