We are currently looking for a Highly Motivated Full-Time Licensed Behavioral Health Program Manager to join our team at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN! Ideally, we would like the candidate to have webinar and group session experience.
Excellent Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm) & Tuesday, Thursday (9am - 6pm). NO WEEKENDS!

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Behavioral Health Program Manager will be responsible for the management and coordination of a contract’s behavioral health program. The Behavioral Health Program Manager will facilitate members and their dependents in identifying and resolving personal issues of a psychological nature including but not limited to substance abuse, behavioral health disorders, crises and other family and life stressors. This position will contribute to the corporate and departmental goal to minimize employee lost time and productivity. This position will also minimize barriers to behavioral Health care, and assist the clinical team in member engagement, changing behavior, and improving health outcomes. Position is responsible to effectively utilize provider resources and member/company health and welfare benefits in the most efficient and cost-effective manner to facilitate improved psychological health.
This role will also be responsible for strategic direction and design; delivery and evaluation; program management and staff support; marketing and communications; and connecting members with community resources. Manage and support the setting and execution of the behavioral health program plan to ensure that program goals are met, program outcomes are documented and demonstrated, and all client needs are fulfilled. Serve as liaison to both internal and external key stakeholders, ensuring that operational and reporting requirements are met. Ensure positive, effective and long-term customer relations and client satisfaction.
- Provide strategic input and direction for program/service identification and development
- Manage the needs assessment(s) process and design, deliver and evaluate behavioral health programs such as webinars, lunch and learns and group programs.
- Provides psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families.
- Interviews clients to gather and interpret social, personal, environmental, and health information.
- Evaluate and treat problems within their scope of practice.
- Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health cases, including short term crisis resolution and referrals to community resources.
- Serve as liaison between internal departments, connecting employees with community resources
- Support DCO and direct managers to build, develop, and support the behavioral health needs and goals of the client
- Effectively develop, promote, implement/support implementation, and evaluate behavioral health programs to include direct member care, webinars, and groups
- Manage and provide oversight for the tracking, collection and analysis of individual as well as overall program outcomes
- Collaborate and support development of annual strategic planning; manage the effective execution and evaluation of the strategic plan
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the DCO
- May require other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Master’s in social work, counseling, psychology, or equivalent field of study.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor in state of position.
- Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS – care) certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- 5+ years behavioral health programming planning, implementation, and evaluation experience
- 2+years of management experience preferred
- Must have prior counseling experience in the field of treatment of behavioral mental health including depression, mood disorders, alcoholism and drug dependency, family counseling, marital relationship, grief, loss, etc.
