You will be working at a Wellness Center located onsite at a large employer location, where we offer care to their employees and provide exceptional health care services.

  • Oversees the overall management of a medium size health center; leading a team of 4 skilled and experienced team members to include a Physician Assistant, a Part time Register Nurse, and 2 Medical Assistants.
  • Provides a moderate amount of direct patient care (15- 50%), primary care background and phlebotomy skills highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of occupational health, OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, Medical Surveillance, and injury management are highly preferred.
  • Manages and monitors all daily operational processes and quality assurance activities for the Wellness Center.
  • Responsible for the performance appraisal process for all team members, as well as understanding team members personal goals, growth potential, provides coaching and feedback routinely, and training and mentorship as needed.
  • Attends various conference calls to receive client and corporate information, then communicates regularly with staff, conducts meetings, and keeps team members informed.
  • Manages staffing schedules, recruitment, development, performance improvement and finding talented coverage. Collaborates with Director of Client Operations for final staffing decisions.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training and ensuring the successful orientation and onboarding of new team members.
  • Manages workflows, work schedules, and human resources to ensure efficient and effective Wellness Center performance.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and presents resolutions and recommendations to the Director of Client Operations
  • Makes recommendation and monitors scheduling, volume, patient flow, overall Wellness Center performance and works with Director of Client Operations to communicate any gaps in meeting performance guarantees.
  • Understands and complies with all regulatory, procedural, policy and licensing requirements.
  • Completes incident/occurrence reports, conducts investigations, and addresses any resolution of complaints.
  • Communicates and coordinates corporate messages and ensures implementation of policies and procedures, and proper branding parameters are followed.
  • Manages internal budget, reviews expenses, purchases supplies, inventories equipment, and medication.
  • Works collaboratively and in partnership to achieve goals with the leadership team such as, Medical Director, Regional Clinical Director, Director of Client Operations and other Health Center Managers within the account.
  • Acts as Wellness Center’s infection control lead and collaborates with the Corporate Director of Quality and Infection Control Officer to address any concerns or share needs for support/remediation.
  • May interact with client representatives as required
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience required
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state
  • Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field, primary care and occupational health highly preferred
  • 2 – 3 years’ management experience
  • Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.
  • Certification in COHN / COHN-S or Occupational Health experience preferred.
Knowledge And Skills:
  • Phlebotomy skills highly preferred
  • Excellent computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing, medical EMR (EPIC) etc.)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Experience in healthcare setting a must, primary care preferred
  • Leadership, management, training, and coaching
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
