The position will start in October 2024.   
  
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION  
Physical Therapy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical therapy team members in addition to providing evidence based, outpatient orthopedic physical therapy to help members get, stay and be well.  
  
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS  
  • Works in collaboration with other Health Center staff members including, doctors, NPs, PAs, nurses, dietitians, wellness coaches, as well as community providers to promote health and wellness to onsite employees and their dependents. 
  • Oversees staff which may include PTs, PTAs, Athletic Trainers, Exercise Physiologists, administrative and technical staff (staff may be exempt or nonexempt).
  • Responsible for staffing, onboarding, performance coaching, and staff development process for applicable team members.
  • Manages daily operations, workflow, work schedules, timecard monitoring etc. to ensure efficient and effective performance.
  • Interfaces with provider team to develop a plan of care for members.
  • Maintains and provides data to support the success of the Physical Therapy team to include providing monthly reporting.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and presents resolutions and recommendations to Health Center Manager or the Director of Site Operations.
  • Understands and complies with all regulatory, procedural, policy and licensing requirements.
  • Completes incident reports as needed and handles the resolution of complaints.
  • Communicates and works collaboratively with the Health Center Manager, or Director of Site Operations at the site to manage internal site issues
  • May require other duties as assigned
  
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS  
  
Education:  
  • All state licenses/certifications to practice 
  • Current board certificate (if applicable)
  • Degree from accredited Physical/Occupational Therapy School
  • CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer -the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include “hands on” evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate.
   
Experience:  
  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
   
Knowledge and Skills:  
  • Knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.

While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California compensation is $163,992.60- $182,214 annually.
