About the role: We are currently looking for a Developer, Business Intelligence to join our Business Intelligence team. This position is focused on supporting Operations business users and emerging reporting needs. We are passionate about data integrity, process standardization, simplification, and delivering high quality reporting and analytics. Our goal is to effectively design, develop, and support core reporting applications for deployment to our clients and operational stakeholders in support of our strategy to establish analytics as a core competency.

Essential Functions:

  • Generate and maintain reports supporting business performance metrics and client data needs
  • Work collaboratively with operational business users to resolve data quality issues
  • Assist with troubleshooting database related issues and driving resolution
  • Assist with monitoring the performance of Business Intelligence databases and processes
  • Assist with performance tuning of database schemas, stored procedures, etc.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of Business Intelligence systems, processes, and standards

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 1-3 years of reporting or SQL experience in enterprise level environments
  • Strong critical-thinking/problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and dedication to quality
  • Ability to create, debug, and modify complex SQL stored procedures, views, and functions
  • 1-3 years of experience with SQL Server Integration (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience troubleshooting common report data and design issues
  • Experience managing and deploying SSIS and SSRS changes in production environments
  • Experience analyzing data to identify potential issues, trends, or exceptions to drive data quality
  • Experience diagnosing, isolating, and, under supervision, implementing strategies to resolve complex data opportunities
  • Comfortable working with large, cross-functional groups of stakeholders

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Experience with the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of medical and/or pharmacy relational data.

Compensation is between $70,000 to $80,000 annually. Premise offers a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time team members including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, annual CEU/CME allowance, and Tuition Reimbursement. Benefits offered to part-time team members include 401K, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and annual CEU/CME allowance. PRN team members may also enroll in 401K.
