JOB SCOPE:
The Inside Sales - Analyst supports revenue growth by combining sales intelligence, prospect research, inbound lead qualification, and direct customer outreach. This position analyzes internal and external data to identify potential trailer demand, high-value prospects, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, then translates those findings into clear, actionable recommendations for the Sales organization.
Working collaboratively with Marketing, National Accounts, Branch Sales, and Sales Leadership, the Inside Sales - Analyst researches and engages qualified prospects, asks effective discovery questions, and advances the right opportunities to the appropriate salesperson or branch. The role also uses CRM data, reporting, AI, and automation to improve prospect prioritization, follow-up, workflow efficiency, and visibility into the sales pipeline.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze internal and external data to identify trailer demand, target accounts, expansion opportunities, and market trends, translating findings into actionable sales recommendations.
Research, engage, and qualify inbound and targeted prospects through phone, email, text, and other approved channels using effective discovery questions.
Prioritize and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate National Account representative or branch, maintain timely follow-up, and re-engage stalled prospects.
Maintain accurate prospect intelligence, activity, qualification details, and next steps in HubSpot while supporting lead scoring, segmentation, and pipeline reporting.
Use reporting, business intelligence, AI, and automation to accelerate research, personalize outreach, improve workflows, and partner across Marketing and Sales to strengthen lead quality, conversion visibility, and opportunity ownership.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in business analytics, inside sales, sales operations, business development, or a related B2B role.
Highly self-motivated and organized with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and solve complex problems in a dynamic business environment.
Strong customer orientation with the ability to manage high-value client and vendor relationships effectively.
Personable, collaborative, and capable of building trust with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Experience working with CRM systems, business data, AI tools, or emerging sales technology
Experience with HubSpot, transportation, equipment leasing, or fleet services is preferred but not required.
Experience engaging prospects or customers directly by phone and digital channels is preferred.
Equivalent relevant experience and demonstrated analytical capability will be considered.

Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform.
Experience with reporting, data visualization, business intelligence, or sales intelligence tools.
Practical experience using generative AI and automation tools for research, analysis, and workflow improvement.
Ability to maintain accurate data and produce clear, decision-ready reporting.
