Premier Early Childhood Education Partners is a private early childhood education organization seeking a Recruiter! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic professional who is passionate about early childhood education.
 
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience OR leadership or administrative experience in the early childhood education industry.
Required Shift: Monday – Friday; position is remote but will require up to 25% travel. Candidates must be based out of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Connecticut. Travel to the Philadelphia area will be expected.
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, based on education and experience + monthly commissions

Our Hiring Process:

  • Virtual screen with Recruiter (30 minutes)
  • Virtual interview with Talent Acquisition Manager and Team Lead (60 minutes)
  • Virtual Interview with Chief Human Resources Officer (30 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with operations team and hiring managers to define and understand staffing needs.
  • Develop strong working relationships with hiring managers that result in effective communication and the ability to insert recruiting expertise.
  • Screen resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or video), schedule and coordinate on-site interviews with hiring managers, make recommendation for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both full-time, part-time, contracted, and seasonal position openings within an assigned region.
  • Advise hiring managers on best practices, candidate personas and labor market trends based on data driven results.
  • Establish community-based and early childhood education partnerships across universities, colleges, training programs, workforce development programs, substitute programs and community stakeholders.
  • Bring your creativity! Utilize traditional and nontraditional resources, such as job boards, recruiting platforms, direct sourcing, online career fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting and interview process.
  • Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop solutions to address staffing challenges.
  • Become a subject matter expert on navigating applicant tracking system to drive efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and coach new recruiters to help them fully integrate into the Talent function.
  • Other projects and duties may be assigned.
