We're looking for a talented and energetic Clinical Business Operations Associate (Clinical Trial Contracts and Payments Specialist) to join our Functional Services team!

  • Negotiate contracts and budgets for clinical and non-clinical activities
  • Work closely with Legal to review vendor contract language changes
  • Prepare contract status reports for weekly Clinical Operation meetings
  • Use Medidata to generate budgets for new studies and check FMV rates
  • Ensure all contracts are executed in a timely manner to meet study timelines
  • Process and track vendor payments to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Assist Clinical Program Managers with contract inquires for invoice processing
  • Process new vendor set-up, purchase order request, and PO Amendments
    Responsible for other related assigned activities such as monthly accruals, and meeting attendance
  • Request and track CDA’s
  • Drive Outsourcing process improvement efforts
  • Assist with RFP request
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree, or international equivalent from an accredited institution, preferably in a clinical, biological, scientific, or health-related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 5 years’ experience managing contracts and budgets, ideally in a Life Sciences or Clinical environment.
  • Experience with MEDIDATA Grants Manager software preferred
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze financial and operational data.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate favorable site budgets.
  • Knowledge of running clinical trial and associated costs
  • Strong analytical and organization skills, able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrates excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
