We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst, Clinical Systems Support to join our Clinical Data Sciences team that is passionate about improving healthcare through innovative clinical research. As a member of the Premier Research team, you’ll help create tangible solutions for patients in need while building cross-functional partnerships that enable your growth and success.

This position provides global user and administration support to both internal Premier Research staff and external customers, across multiple time zones and countries for our ePremier system.  This person ensures timely delivery of a quality technical and process support service to internal and external customers. The role would be ideally for someone who has a Clinical background with experience in assisting with system implementation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring that the ePremier User Support function delivers on all aspects of its function
  • Ensuring support requests are triaged and assigned on a timely basis
  • Supporting request triage, assessment, escalation and resolution
  • Ensuring timely delivery of a quality technical support service
  • Assisting with Training material development
  • Providing End User Training
  • Process authoring
  • Participation in User Acceptance Testing for ePremier product enhancements, releases
  • Participation in customer meetings and demonstrate the ePremier system
  • Working directly with internal staff and end users, this position will be working directly with our platform vendor, current sponsors, and/or potential sponsors
  • Providing input into ePremier process and procedures and applicable
  • Supporting and assisting with the implementation/maintenance of studies, as related to ePremier by collaborating with the ePremier platform vendor and internal study teams
  • Determining root cause of issues and communicate appropriately to internal and external customers.
  • Reporting to Manager on any issue that could significantly impact the business
  • Suggesting potential improvements to the ePremier application as indicated
What we are searching for:
  • Minimum of a BS/BA degree or local equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing process and procedures
  • Demonstrable experience of incident and problem root cause analysis and trend identification
  • Experience in many of the following Software Systems is required:   Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, SharePoint, Medidata Rave, and DataLabs and Clinical Trial Management Systems
  • Familiarity working and supporting a global, distributed, multi-language environment
  • Clinical drug development or other highly regulated industry background preferred – someone with a background as a Project Associate or Data Manager would be ideal
  • Microsoft Windows Operating Systems e.g. XP/7/8.1/10
  • Microsoft Office 2003/2010/2013/2016
  • AD account administration
  • User account provision
  • Medidata Rave / DataLabs
  • Prior experience in using Clinical Trial Management Systems
  • There may be the requirement to work out of hours on an occasional basis
