What you will be doing

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, developing, configuring, and recommending COTS/GOTS/FOSS products, packages, and libraries in a heterogeneous operating system environment including High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.

What you will need

•         Experience using the Linux CLI

•         Experience with scripting languages such as Python/Bash to automate tasks, manage configurations, and facilitate software integration processes

•         General HPC architecture knowledge of HPC Ecosystem including compute, network, memory, and storage components

•         Proficiency in Linux system administration and configuration management

•         Experience with build and compile procedures for various software and firmware components

•         Experience with COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, packages, and libraries to determine the best strategy for fulling new development and integration requirements

•         Experience with zero-touch provisioning and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation

•         Experience creating documentation detailing software stacks, relevant integration activities, and software configurations

•         Experience troubleshooting, tracking, documenting, and resolving complex software build and software integration issues

•         Ability to develop, debug, and test applications based upon design and performance requirements

•         Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

Position Desired Skills

•         Working knowledge of configuration management tools and processes

•         Experience troubleshooting, tracking, documenting, and resolving complex software build and integration issues

•         Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools (Jira, Confluence)

 Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role
