Role Description:
The LED Project Coordinator will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of LED infrastructure projects within our studio environments. This is a technical and coordination role requiring advanced expertise in LED systems, strong project leadership, and the ability to manage complex installations across multiple stakeholders. The LED Project Coordinator will ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical, safety, and quality standards, on time and within scope.
The LED Project Coordinator will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of LED infrastructure projects within our studio environments. This is a technical and coordination role requiring advanced expertise in LED systems, strong project leadership, and the ability to manage complex installations across multiple stakeholders. The LED Project Coordinator will ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical, safety, and quality standards, on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
- Project Ownership & Planning: Lead the full lifecycle of LED projects, evaluating technical requirements, defining scope, and ensuring precise execution.
- Technical Design & Evaluation: Determine appropriate LED strip types, quantities, power consumption, control systems, and overall system architecture.
- Materials & Resource Management: Oversee procurement, inventory control, and allocation of materials to ensure uninterrupted project delivery.
- Electrical & System Calculations: Perform and validate calculations for electrical loads, power supplies, currents, and DMX controller requirements.
- Production & Pre-Installation: Direct internal production and preparation of LED strips, connectors, and supporting components.
- Installation Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the installation of LED systems, cabling, electrical panels, power sources, and controllers in the studio and on-site locations.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead comprehensive system testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure full operational readiness prior to handover.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct final inspections, report to senior management for approval, and ensure installations meet all internal and technical standards.
- Safety, Compliance & Risk Management: Enforce adherence to internal procedures, ensure safe use of equipment, and manage incident reporting in line with company policy.
- Documentation & Standardization: Implement clear labeling, notations, and technical documentation for all equipment, cabling, controllers, and panels.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Provide technical leadership to installation teams, coordinate staffing for studio work and travel projects, and support skill development.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and professionalism throughout all project phases.
- Additional Responsibilities: Execute any tasks assigned by management related to project optimization, technical improvements, or evolving business needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience in LED systems, technical production, or complex electrical/visual installations.
- Advanced knowledge of LED technologies, power distribution, DMX controllers, and studio infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in system design, calculations, and problem-solving.
- High standards of quality assurance, safety compliance, and technical precision.
- Proactive, accountable, and capable of operating independently in a senior coordination role.
- PC literate with strong technical and analytical capabilities.
- Minimum High School diploma required.
- Fluent English (oral and written).
