• Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement Cisco networking devices, including switches, routers and firewalls, to meet organizational needs.
• Network Management: Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, including configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network devices and connections.
• Wi-Fi Configuration & Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of wireless networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
• Systems Administration: Leverage solid knowledge of Linux and Windows systems to manage and configure network services, security protocols and performance monitoring tools.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve network issues, from routing and switching to wireless connectivity, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure the security of the network infrastructure by implementing and managing firewalls, access control policies, and VPN configurations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting procedures and network diagrams.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (e.g., security, audio-video, IT systems administrators and support) to ensure the network infrastructure supports the broader organizational goals.

• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, focusing on Cisco equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and wireless systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in configuring and managing Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Solid understanding of Wi-Fi networks (configuring, securing, and troubleshooting access points).
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS (e.g., configuring network services, firewall settings and system administration tasks).
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, OSPF).
• Network Security: Familiarity with network security protocols, including VPNs, firewall configurations and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Ability to diagnose and resolve network and system-related issues quickly and efficiently.
• Tools & Technologies: Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools like Wireshark, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Certifications: Additional industry certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Cloud Networking: Familiarity with cloud-based solutions or SD-WAN.
• Virtualization: Experience with technologies like VMware or Docker.
