JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor to join our in-house production team in Bucharest. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, enjoys crafting high-impact visuals, and can elevate a wide range of video content—from high-end promotional materials to large-scale iGaming productions. You will collaborate closely with directors, producers, animators, designers, and the wider creative department to deliver polished, engaging, and visually striking content.
 
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit a variety of video formats including promos, studio showcases, product announcements, brand campaigns, social media content, and long-form materials.
  • Craft compelling narrative structures, pacing, and visual storytelling, making complex or technical content feel dynamic and engaging.
  • Perform colour correction and grading to match brand guidelines and ensure consistent visual identity across multiple projects.
  • Create multiple versions of content adapted for different platforms.
  • Manage sound design. including adding effects, cleaning audio, and mixing levels for a polished final export.

Motion Graphics & VFX

  • Produce clean and engaging motion graphics, animated transitions, animated logos, and other visual elements.
  • Integrate VFX sequences, compositing, tracking, rotoscoping, and cleanup work where needed.
  • Collaborate with in-house 2D/3D artists to bring complex ideas to life through animation and visual effects.
  • Develop creative solutions for enhancing raw footage using CGI, particle effects, and other advanced tools.

Workflow & Project Management

  • Lead, mentor, and support a small team of editors, motion designers, and junior VFX artists.
  • Provide technical and creative guidance during edit reviews.
  • Oversee task allocation and ensure efficient workload distribution.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and skill-development of new team members.
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and high-performance team environment.
  • Manage timelines and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain organised project structures and asset libraries.
  • Work with production leads on project goals and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with technical deliverable standards. Ability to translate creative directions into technical post-production plans.
  • Strong communication with producers, directors, and studio management.
  • Familiarity with supervising remote teams or cross-country creatives.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Experience

  • Prior experience guiding or leading other editors or motion designers.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact edits under tight deadlines.
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong background in dynamic commercial or promotional editing.
  • Motion graphics and/or VFX experience is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to build advanced templates, presets, and editing workflows for team use.
  • Experience creating edit structures that scale across 10+ deliverable versions.
  • Strong understanding of studio pipelines, proxies, multicam, and advanced project structuring.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues for the wider team.
  • Experience presenting concepts to members of non-technical departments.
  • Experience designing visual language for a brand or studio.

Technical Skills

  • Expert in Davinci Resolve.
  • Advanced After Effects skills.
  • Bonus: DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D/Blender.
  • Strong understanding of codecs, colour spaces, and delivery standards.
  • Ability to handle multicam and heavy footage workflows.
