ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re building a brand-new, US-based, fully remote game studio developing new slot games for the Pragmatic Play ecosystem, and we’re looking for a Game Producer to shepherd our games through the design and development process.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with a small multidisciplinary team to coordinate the development process from start to finish to ensure the successful and timely delivery of high-quality, high-performing games.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Create and manage the game development schedule to ensure timely delivery of the project
- Identify and solve production issues or bottlenecks that could delay development
- Own and maintain the team’s task tracker and other project documentation
- Organize and facilitate team meetings to discuss project status and resolve any issues
- Facilitate effective communication with other departments involved in the game’s development
- Conduct postmortems after game completion to identify process improvements and proactively resolve recurring issues
- Playtest and provide feedback on the game’s math, mechanics, game flow, and visual presentation with an eye toward creating the best player experience possible
- Regularly play competitors’ games in the iGaming and land-based spaces to stay abreast of industry trends and new mechanics
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
- Proven experience as a Game Producer or in a similar project management role
- Degree in Game Production, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of the game development lifecycle and game production methodologies
- Strong project management skills including proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially the ability to clearly communicate complex and technical concepts to stakeholders across the globe
- Passion for games and learning industry trends, emerging game mechanics, and player expectations
- You should:
- Be able to confidently coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Be able to move comfortably between strategic and detailed levels
- Bring strong organization and structure to a fast-moving environment
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Provide, accept, and act on feedback constructively
