The Role:

We are seeking a mid-level Information Technology Support Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to provide exceptional technical support, maintain our technology infrastructure, and manage end user needs in a fast paced environment. 

In this role, you will troubleshoot software and hardware issues, manage IT assets, and ensure seamless daily operations by addressing user needs promptly and professionally. 

You will also serve as the primary contact for Very Important Persons and senior stakeholders across the business, requiring strong communication skills to handle their inquiries with discretion and efficiency. 

You will collaborate with team members and uphold company standards to maintain a secure and efficient workplace, while demonstrating the ability to independently oversee the office's infrastructure.

What you will be doing:

  • Information Technology Support and Issue Resolution - Serve as the first point of contact for in house inquiries, managing and troubleshooting issues from software to hardware, including mobile phones, laptops, personal computers, and printers, to ensure efficient problem resolution.
  • Very Important Person and Stakeholder Management - Provide dedicated support to VIPs and senior stakeholders, managing their IT needs with professionalism, clear communication, and priority handling to maintain strong relationships and minimise disruptions.
  • Infrastructure Support and Maintenance - Maintain and support key systems such as Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange Online, and the local area network. Oversee the inventory of IT assets, ensure accurate tracking, and assist with IT procurement activities, while independently managing the overall office IT infrastructure.
  • Service Management and User Assistance - Log, track, and manage all service requests, take ownership, and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
  • Training and Compliance - Maintain high service standards, publish support documentation, and coordinate external technical support when necessary, all while ensuring IT operations align with company standards.
What makes you a strong candidate:
  • Technical Skills - Strong proficiency in Windows Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Work Experience – Hands on experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar role (3-5 years), including managing IT infrastructure independently and supporting senior or Very Important Person users.
  • Technical Knowledge - Experience with databases, networks (LAN/WAN), routers, and switches.
  • Platform Knowledge - Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Skills - Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and Very Important Persons effectively, demonstrating tact, clarity, and responsiveness.
Nice to have
  • Additional Certifications - Any relevant certifications (for example, CCNA, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or similar) would be an advantage.
  • Security Knowledge - Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience with security tools and protocols.
