We are looking for an experienced A&D representative for the Speakman brand in NY that is ambitious, self-motivated and has an infectious positive outlook. You will identify and influence decision makers by developing relationships through meetings, emails, phone calls, professional associations, and networking in your territory.

Essential Functions

  • Present products to the Architecture, Design & Build community to get specified on projects
  • Place samples and literature in libraries/offices, perform lunch and learns and use your creativity to share the difference
  • Network and establish strong relationships with architects, builders, and designers through involvement in trade associations and office visits
  • Create potential client list and seek new clients through research
  • Develop a strong knowledge of product offering, value propositions, and operating systems
  • Collaborate with the entire Commercial team
  • Create a pipeline with active projects and communicate with internal Commercial team keeping them informed as to the project progress
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in Hospitality and/or Multi family, past plumbing experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in previous role calling on the A&D community getting items specified
