For our High Power team located in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, Power Integrations is currently recruiting for a Sr. ASIC Development Engineer.


  • Development of smart power functional blocks and complete mixed signal ASICs from definition to series maturity
  • Development of economic, efficient and demanding gate driver products
  • Analog/ mixed signal circuit design and simulation
  • Layout design and verification
  • Product characterization, release and documentation

Education and Experience

  • BSc or MSc, preferably with emphasis on Analog Integrated Circuit Design
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Analog mixed signal IC Design
  • Good understanding of power semiconductors and their applications
  • High-voltage analog and mixed Signal IC development experience in CMOS, BCD, BiCMOS would be an advantage
  • Language: Fluent in English; German is an advantage

  • Entwicklung von ökonomischen, effizienten und anspruchsvollen Gate-Treiber Produkten
  • Schaltungsentwicklung und Simulation
  • Layout Design und Verifikation
  • Produktcharakterisierung, Freigabe und Dokumentation

 Ausbildung und Erfahrung

  • BSc/Beng oder MSc von Vorteil mit Schwerpunkt in Analog Integrated Circuit (IC) Design
  • Minimum 5 Jahre Erfahrung in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design
  • Gute Kenntnisse in Leistungshalbleiter und deren Anwendungen
  • Entwicklungserfahrung in Hochvolt Analog und Mixed-Signal IC CMOS oder BCD / BiCMOS ist von Vorteil
  • Fliessend in Englisch (Wort und Schrift), Deutsch ist von Vorteil
