Operations Technician will work in a semiconductor manufacturing facility.
Technician will be overseeing and working with various equipment supporting semiconductor manufacturing processes like gas delivery systems, purifiers, analyzers. Technician will handle various chemicals, including gas bottles/drums, bubblers, chemical bottles, other supplies and materials, and hazardous waste associated with production. Technician will need to connect gas sources to equipment and test those connections. Technician will need to perform some equipment troubleshooting and repairs. A number of tasks will be performed outside of the facility throughout the year. Technician will need to operate a fork-lift.
Technician will also support production tasks inside a cleanroom environment, as well as supporting overall facility equipment.
Some of the tasks will have to be performed individually while others will required close cooperation with other technicians or engineers.
Candidate needs to have closely related experience, of 3+ years.
Experience working with gas delivery systems, operating leak testing equipment, equipment troubleshooting and repairs, operating fork-lift.
Candidate must be able to easily handle parts/components weighing up to 50lbs and be physically fit to perform all required tasks including working outside in the hot or cold weather, must be computer literate.
