New Product Definition Associate Engineer
Description
Job Description:
- Assist Senior Engineers with their engineering tasks (PCB design/Layout/Testing).
- Soldering components including SMD on PCB boards.
- PCB Layout and Generating/Submitting Gerber files to outside FAB house.
- Manage R&D lab equipment (calibration scheduling/ labeling) and inventory management (ordering parts from Online distributors).
- Able to use bench equipment for data gathering and performing basic data analysis. Knowledge of basic scripting language (Python, basic) is a plus.
Experience:
- Familiar with OrCAD Schematic and Altium/ Allegro PCB layout tools.
- Hands-on and self-driven attitude, willing to do whatever it takes to complete tasks assigned.
- Complete tasks in creative and effective ways while working with minimal oversight.
- Familiar with Bench equipment (Oscilloscope/ DMM/AC and DC supply).
- Familiar with Windows operating system and MS-Office.
- Familiar with LPKF PCB milling machine is a plus.
- Preferred to have a minimum 4-5 years’ work experience as an Electronics Technician.
Education:
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics.
- Experience in semiconductor industry is required
