Job Description
- Actively participate in design verification testing and perform in-lab characterization of first sample ICs, ensuring adherence to the performance.
- Work closely with product definition and IC design engineers to support the emulation or simulation of new project development.
- Characterize next-generation power devices (GaN or Si), analyzing performance data and providing detailed testing reports on device behavior.
- Oversee lab resources and manage testing equipments, ensuring all tools are calibrated, available, and maintained. Maintain an organized database for lab resources and testing records.
- Develop project schematics and PCB layouts under the guidance of product definition engineers.
- Provide support for daily office operations and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in IC design verification, testing, and lab characterization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with PCB layout and schematic design tools.
- Strong collaboration skills with keen attention to detail in managing lab resources and equipment.
- Knowledge or willing to learn of power semiconductor technology and power device performance.
- Understand the general power topologies and operation modes (a plus)
