Job Summary: The Sales Trainer at Point of Rental Software will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our sales team. This role involves collaborating with sales leadership to identify training needs, designing training materials, and conducting training sessions that equip our sales professionals with the tools they need to succeed in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales team members.
  • Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
  • Conduct ongoing training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, feedback, and performance data analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify areas for improvement and tailor training programs accordingly.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sales techniques, and best practices to ensure training programs are current and relevant.
  • Provide support and mentorship to sales team members to help them achieve their goals.
  • Work with the product team to maintain a thorough understanding of our software solutions and how they benefit our customers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach, or in a similar role within the software or SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, particularly within a software or SaaS environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and other training tools.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and identify training needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with sales team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in sales training or related fields.
  • Experience with sales tooling and CRM, particularly Salesforce and Gong
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth software or SaaS company.
Job TypeFull-Time, Exempt. Base Salary + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) + 120 Hours PTO + 100% 401(k) Matching (Up to 4%). Open to On-Site, Hybrid, or 100% Remote Environments.
The base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, experience and training, skills, licenses and certifications, and education among other factors.
