DevOps Engineer
Description
Responsibilities:
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Automate and improve development and release processes.
- Test and examine code written by others and analyze results.
- Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Deploy updates and fixes.
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Develop scripts to automate visualization and other tasks.
Required Experience:
- Professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Experience automating code builds.
- Expertise with Linux (preferably Ubuntu environments).
- Proficient in Python (preferred) and/or BASH.
- Familiarity with deployment/management tools (Jenkins, AWS SSM, Rundeck, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.
- Ability to write efficient scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
- Ability to provide "quick win" performance improvements.
- Willingness to work outside traditional hours as needed by the business.
Preferred Experience:
- Comfortable with Windows DSC.
- Familiarity with NoSQL, especially DynamoDB and/or Redis.
- Experience with serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateways, CloudFront, etc.) and containerization.
- Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and CloudFormation.

Job Type: Full-time, exempt position with base salary, health benefits, and 401K matching.
Pay Transparency: The base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $140,000 per year. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, experience, and training, skills, licenses and certifications, and education among other factors.
