About the role…
The Merchant Sales: Team Lead position is a revenue generation role designed to maximize Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) by closing up-sell / add-on opportunities specific to our credit card products and integration partners.
Expectations...
- Close credit card integration sales opportunities within the current customer base while working closely with our credit card partners to increase the velocity at which our customers utilize their products and services.
- Close >20 opportunities per month, within a designated mix of new and existing customers.
- Be the subject matter expert, and drive cross-team collaboration and understanding of our credit card products and integration partners.
- Generate the highest probability of sale through effective demonstration of proven sales behaviors including, but not limited to...
- Completing effective discovery calls focused on learning the prospect’s current credit card related challenges
- Providing effective solution recommendations while communicating accurate business value alignment between the customer’s challenges and the recommended solution
- Meet or exceed monthly quotas
Requirements…
- Minimum 3 years proven sales experience with integrated credit card processing. Experience working SaaS platforms and/or vertically focused software.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time-management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with a sense of urgency and persistence
- Hunger for continuous learning / improvement and a willingness to implement best practices
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to adapt to changing processes
- Ability to follow a prescribed sales process and effectively utilize provided tools and resources
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt. Base Salary + Commission + Benefits (Medical/Dental/Vision) + 120 Hours PTO + Paternity/Maternity Leave + 100% 401(k) Matching (Up to 4%).
The base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, experience and training, skills, licenses and certifications, and education among other factors.
