We are looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our talented Marketing team in our Minneapolis office. 

Position Overview:

As an integral part on the Plus Relocation marketing team, the Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for creative design and ensures that print and digital sales and marketing assets accurately reflect the Plus brand and meet the desired business objectives. This position works on a variety of projects including marketing campaign materials, interactive and print brochures, websites, emails, direct mail, advertising, video, landing pages and websites as well as business development materials such as RFPs and sales presentations.

  • This is a hybrid role working at least 2 days/week at our Minneapolis Headquarters (169/394 area).
  • Pay range for this role:  $55,000 - $80,000/year, depending on qualifications & experience.

What would your day look like in this position?

  • Use detailed understanding of product and company knowledge and strategies to assist in the establishment of creative direction that meets the organization’s needs, in collaboration with sales and marketing partners across the organization.
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs that will inspire, inform and captivate our partners through various types of creative content, including but not limited to print and digital collateral, website/landing pages, RFP responses, and trade show materials.
  • Provide strategic support for marketing communications and materials by flawlessly executing design ideas and strategy.
  • Support industry trade shows, promotions and events by organizing marketing resources, attending and supporting events in-person as needed.
  • Drive video projects through from pre-production to the post-production process to achieve engaging video content while maintaining brand integrity
  • Manage relationships with external agencies including but not limited to graphic design and printing resources
  • Serve as brand steward on visual brand identity standards
  • Design and create graphical elements such as logos, illustrations, icons, charts and graphs
  • Provide creative direction on photo shoots and edit/retouch photos
  • Manage photo library
  • Maintain accurate “real time” records in all Plus systems
  • Other Plus projects as requested by management

 

What you will bring to the position:

  • Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of post-production techniques
  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously, as well as be part of a successful team
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactively protects internal and external confidential information
  • Computer skills necessary for normal business matters (Microsoft Suite required)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
  • Proficiency with design software, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Proficiency with video editing software; Final Cut and Adobe Premiere Pro preferred
  • Willing to travel as business needs require
