As a Sales Director at Plex, you will be responsible for developing and leading a team of Account Executives to drive new business and revenue growth within the Enterprise Manufacturing industry.  The position can be located in TX.

Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage, coach and mentor a team of account executives focused on driving revenue in new enterprise manufacturing accounts
  • Drive sales execution by reviewing sales strategies, forecasts and participating in customer meetings
  • Advise and consult with the sales team on prospecting, account planning, account management, demonstrating product and closing business
  • Represent your team’s progress and activity within salesforce.com and accurately forecast your business to senior sales management
  • Define goals and metrics and continually measure against progress
  • Work with sales operations and training to assist in the ongoing development of the sales team
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key partners to help keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company
  • Help recruit, hire and retain top talent

 

Qualifications:

  • Consistent quota attainment in software sales (individual and team quota)
  • Minimum of 5+ years leading software sales teams
  • Experience selling and/or managing manufacturing relationships around enterprise software technologies
  • Documented track record of success in a fast-moving sales environment within a high growth company
  • Expert ability in account planning, account management and selling to new accounts
  • ERP and back office acumen
  • Ability to create and implement successful sales plans
  • Ability to mentor and motivate sales representatives who work remotely
  • Ability to communicate and clearly express complex ideas, both in writing and verbally at all levels of a client and corporate organization
  • Experience constructing and making presentations to C-level executives
  • Persistence in pursuing opportunities
  • Demonstrated success selling SaaS solution into new business accounts strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel
