PLAYSTUDIOS is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the my KONAMI Slots team in Austin. This role focuses on creating and improving CI/CD pipelines. 

We operate a hybrid Infrastructure utilizing both traditional and cloud environments to deliver high-availability and scalability for our products. Our systems are implemented in C# using Unity and ASP.NET. The DevOps Engineer will work directly with the Engineers, QA Testers, and Project Managers to create and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support regular cadence of production updates and hotfixes for live service of multiple products.
  • Work directly with engineers, QA testers, and producers to ensure coordinated releases.
  • Triage and troubleshoot live issues to resolution with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with and educate engineers on the proper use of build and source control systems.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Science, IT, or similar.
  • Experience enabling development lifecycle of products with regular updates and live operations.
  • Scripting skills utilizing bash, python, and/or PowerShell.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines and Jenkins or similar technologies.
  • Strong experience with version control systems such as TFS, Git, and Azure Repos.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AKS.
  • Experience with pipeline as code languages such as YAML or Jenkinsfile.
  • Experience with automated deployment using ARM, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Familiarity with agile development processes.

Preferred

  • Experience with C# 8+.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Experience writing and interpreting buildfiles utilizing Apache Ant.
  • Development experience using ASP.NET Web API 2.
  • Experience with log aggregators like Elastic Stack or Splunk.
  • Experience integrating monitoring systems with 3rd party team collaboration and messaging systems.
  • Experience in developing software for Windows Server, Linux, or macOS.
  • Fluency in writing and maintaining unit tests.
