Planned Companies –Security – Job Description

Schedule:  Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 PM- 5:00  AM, Saturday 11:30 pm- 7:00 am (34 hrs. a week)

Location:  Daly City, California 

Pay: $25.00 per hour (2-3 months assignment) 

Summary

This is why our Planned Security Services (PSS) division is hiring friendly and professional Private Security Guards to provide routine patrol and safety checks, gate house security, mobile patrol, fire watch and control room monitoring.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Routine safety patrol of property and structures for fire monitoring purposes.
  Diligent note-taking of all observations in 30-minute increments.
  Detect, notify, and evacuate a protected area of the building.
  Exceptional communication skills to correspond with management and first responders as necessary.
  Routinely greet residents and guests as the patrol is being conducted.
  Ability to speak with residents, answer general questions, and note down concerns for follow-up.
  Ensure all exits, doors, and windows are secure and functioning.
  Respond to, investigate, and assess notifications, communications, and alarms.
  Report uninvited guests, suspicious possessions, and all unlawful acts to the proper authorities.
  Create and submit daily surveillance and incident reports to Planned Lifestyles Services management.
  Must be able to be on their feet for long periods.
   
   
  Requirements:
   
  Clean/Driver’s License.
  ­2+ years of experience as a Courtesy Patrol, Security, guard or related field.
  ­Knowledge of local, regional, and state legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
  Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
  ­Training in First Aid, Basis Life Saving (BLS) and self-defense.
  Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
  ­A High School diploma is required.
