PAY RANGE:

SUDP: $27.43 - $41.14 (SIGN-ON BONUS $2000)

SUDPT: $23.51 - $35.27 (SIGN-ON BONUS $750)

Compensation:

New hires start between $23.51 and $29.39 (SUDPT) & between $27.43 and $34.28 (SUDP) based on experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market factors. While the full pay range is listed for this position for pay transparency, individual compensation is determined by various factors and may vary within the posted range.

The King County Corrections-Based Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program at the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center provides in-jail treatment to individuals incarcerated due to a substance use disorder (SUD). The program is comprised of a complex array of services that include established evidence-based curriculum and therapeutic community approach. Curriculum includes Living-in-Balance and Moral Reconation Therapy being facilitated within one of the medium security programming housing units. Participants are treated with dignity, respect, and consideration of the whole person in a trauma informed approach. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This position is located at King County Corrections-Based Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program at the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent, WA.


The SUDP/SUDPT is responsible to provide quality treatment services to individuals with substance use disorders at Pioneer Human Services (PHS) using evidence-based and promising practices, effectively meeting the need of PHS's clientele; and documenting treatment and case management service provision in a timely and effective manner. 
 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Registered with the Department of Health as a Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee in the State of Washington.
  • Be able to pass and maintain security clearances as required by employment setting. 

 

Preferred

  • AA degree or higher education. 
  • Additional experience desired: experience in residential treatment or outpatient treatment, or working with individuals with co-morbid disorders.
  • Advanced training in group process or educational programming design according to program needs.
