Health Coordinator: Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA,  Certified Medical Assistant/CMA:
General Summary:
CNA, CMA, or healthcare coordinators will handle administrative tasks, appointment scheduling, post offer Drug and alcohol testing, inventory management, and communications.  Must be organized clerical workers who provide support and assistance to our employees, occupational health nurses and facility management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The CNA/CMA/MA, or healthcare coordinator will not perform any medical treatments.  This person will help the nurses in medical with data entry in to TM digital charts and CORITY as it pertains to Hazmat, AI, Formaldehyde, Hearing Conservation, COVID vaccine admin records, DOT filing and MD notes as needed after being signed off by a nurse, and other documents that would need to be linked in Cority as needed and other clerical duties as necessary.  Maintain an adequate inventory of appropriate medical supplies and take action to obtain new or replace old medical emergency equipment.  Assist with the hearing conservation program; ensure that protective equipment is appropriate and properly used.  Perform pre-employment health, drug and alcohol screens when needed. 
Required Skills:
·         Must be able to work 40 hrs per week and able to work split shifts when needed.
·         Must adhere to all state and federal regulations including OSHA.
·         Must only work within the scope of your certification.
·         Adhere to HIPPA compliance of confidentiality of employee’s personal health information.
·         Establish and maintain good working relationships with departmental staff, management, local healthcare providers and third party administrators when needed.
·         Conduct all assigned and additional job tasks within legal, ethical and moral standards of care in a professional and effective manner.
·         Keep department clean and orderly.
·         Must be certified as an AHA Heartsavers First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications:
Medical certificate as CNA, CMA, or any other healthcare certified professional.  Must be Heartsaver Instructor certified within 6 months of hire.  Must have excellent people skills, recordkeeping understanding, and independent decision making skills.  Bilingual Spanish is a plus.  Background check along with drug and alcohol testing are required.  Must obtain certification in drug and alcohol collections.
