Purpose and Scope/General Summary 

We are seeking an HR Coordinator II to support daily Human Resources operations by providing administrative and employee support across multiple HR functions. This role assists with personnel records, employee relations, payroll support, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, leave management, and other confidential HR processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting team member needs, and partnering with HR leadership to deliver efficient and effective HR services in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain employee personnel files and process employee status changes, including transfers, pay changes, terminations, and personal information updates.
  • Process confidential HR documents, forms, and records while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding activities, including processing employment applications and conducting new hire orientation.
  • Compile HR data and prepare reports related to personnel, attendance, benefits, payroll, and other HR metrics.
  • Monitor and maintain employee records related to compensation, benefits, tax information, attendance, performance evaluations, and employment status.
  • Verify payroll entries and changes, identify discrepancies, and partner with appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Track and administer leave programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Leave of Absence (LOA) requests.
  • Maintain and distribute employee communications, policies, procedures, and HR resources as needed.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employment matters.
  • Assist with employee relations activities and escalate concerns as appropriate.
  • Participate in HR surveys, audits, and data-gathering activities to support organizational planning and compliance efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related Human Resources, administrative, payroll, or employee services experience.
  • Experience maintaining confidential employee information and records.
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration, leave management, payroll processes, and employee onboarding activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as business needs require.

  • Base salary range of $45,302 - $56,628
