Description

Responsible for safely transporting fat, blood, and chicken product samples, as well as company correspondence and materials, between Pilgrim’s locations and designated laboratories throughout Georgia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Pick up and deliver fat, blood, and chicken product samples, along with company correspondence and materials.
• Operate a company van between Pilgrim’s locations, including Canton, Ellijay, Chattanooga, Gainesville, Ranger, Athens, and two laboratories in Northeast Georgia.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and assigned instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe company vehicle.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Work Schedule 

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM start time.
• Friday: 9:00 AM start time.
• End times vary based on traffic, road construction, and operational needs.
• Average daily driving distance: Approximately 400 miles.
