POSITION SUMMARY:
  The Back-Up Supply Room Attendant provides supply room coverage and light housekeeping duties including cleaning injector needles and tools.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Hands out supplies and ensure adequate stock to meet facility needs.
  • Track inventory and supply distribution
  • Cleans injector needles in and tools.
  • Cleans laundry daily.
  • Pickup and clean tables/counters in lunchrooms, locker rooms, and meeting rooms daily.
  • Cleans sinks and toilets in restrooms.
  • Mop floors in misc. office areas.
  • Shovel snow & salt walkways during winter months.
  • Perform other duties as assigned- i.e. break coverage, check supplies, collect knives, etc.
 
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Flexibility of working hours based on daily needs of the department.
  • May be asked to rotate to positions between departments or positions that require data collecting and record keeping.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to apply common sense.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Intermediate Analytical skills preferred.
  • Desire for continuous improvement preferred.
