Description

Truck Shop Manager
This position will be responsible for managing truck shop activities which would include leading of other employees while understanding operations efficiencies and general procedures.
 
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Ensure that all employees are working safely and following PPC safety policies and procedures 
  • Maintain repair records and preventive maintenance programs on all equipment 
  • Train and update training on all employees to provide high quality repairs to all Pilgrim's Pride rolling stock 
  • Provide positive people oriented work environment designed to improve skills, build morale and reduce turnover 
  • Operate within the guidelines of environmental laws and regulations 
  
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience 
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations 
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office programs); SAP experience preferred  
  • Must have effective oral and written skills 
  • Self-motivated and ability to work well with others 
  • Adherence to regulations and company policies 
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but would consider a combination of education and work experience.
