HR Coordinator ll (Attendance Coordinator)
OVERVIEW:
Supports daily HR operations by managing attendance processes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in UKG, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Serves as a key point of contact for team member support, delivering strong customer service while addressing attendance, points, and documentation concerns.
The role focuses on driving accountability by tracking attendance metrics, issuing violations and terminations, supporting supervisors with follow-up, and meeting KPIs. Additionally, it ensures proper recordkeeping, timely reporting, and communication across HR and operations, while contributing to overall workforce management, compliance, and employee engagement efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide daily support for attendance administration, policy compliance, and team member relations.
- Maintain attendance records in UKG, including processing doctor notes, attendance violations, point adjustments, and related documentation.
- Generate, distribute, and track attendance reports while ensuring timely supervisor follow-up and proper recordkeeping.
- Monitor attendance trends, issue final attendance warnings, and support efforts to achieve attendance KPI goals.
- Process terminations, maintain termination documentation, and prepare recurring reports for HR leadership.
- Conduct outreach to team members regarding no call/no show absences and provide follow-up support as needed.
- Complete unemployment claims, respond to requests for information, and participate in hearings as required.
- Maintain organized employee files and HR documentation in compliance with company standards.
- Respond promptly to emails, voicemails, and team member inquiries while providing excellent customer service.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly HR reports, including zero-hour, attendance, and recognition reports.
- Provide support for other HR functions and special projects as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance and flexibility in work schedules to support departmental needs.
EDUCATION:
Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a minimum of 3 year of related experience.
