Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes applications in JobVite and Application Scoring Tool
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policy and procedure
  • Conducts the hiring to include, interviews, offers, and pre-employment paperwork
  • Performs pre-employment screenings and responds to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures; notifies higher level personnel of any potential issues and grievances, etc. Assist with the administration and scoring of aptitude, personality, and interest tests.
  • May perform new hire orientations.
  • Assist with recruitment activities
  • Compile information and prepare reports for plant and corporate use
  • All other duties assigned

EDUCATION:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

 

EXPERIENCE:

Requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)

Experience with I9 Compliance Preferred

Broad knowledge of federal and state employment laws

General knowledge of benefits and compensation administration

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good organizational and problem solving skills

Excellent technical skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and HR-SAP)

 

Working Conditions: General office environment, frequent exposure to plant environment 

Relationships

  • Internal: Works closely with the HR coordinator
  • External: Frequently communicates with applicants and new hires
