Feed Mill Operator-1st Shift
Description
Position Summary:
Person must be willing to make sure that feed is mixed correctly and that the right ingredients are being added to the feed content according to the nutritional specifications. This position will also require housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned by management.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 3:30 am-3:30 pm, weekend as needed.
Pay rates: $22.50 with attendance bonus/hour
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Skill Summary:
- Must be familiar with the feed types and their bin locations.
- Must work closely with the computer operator to make sure the proper feed is going into the proper bins.
- Must know how to operate all pellet equipment and must be familiar with the operation of the batching system.
- Must be able to identify ingredients and put them into their proper micro bin.
- Responsible for cleaning the equipment, sweeping the third floor, and cleaning the medication room, the pellet mill doors, chutes, ducts, and cyclones.
- Other duties as assigned by manager and supervisor
