This position is Hybrid with 80% of the time spent onsite in Petaluma, CA and 20% Remote Work

Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000 per year

Summary:  The Healthcare Recruiter provides customer-focused coordination of recruitment duties and plays a vital role in managing the recruitment of Providers to PHC while ensuring the success of recruitment for the rest of the organization’s diverse teams. The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment, including employment branding, candidate sourcing, ATS management & compliance, job postings, training, and reporting, and serves as a hiring manager liaison.

 

Areas of Responsibility:

 

Provider Recruitment:

  • Works with clinical leadership to establish the Provider needs and desires of the organization.
  • Uses Petaluma Health Center’s recruitment tools as well as, when appropriate, HRSA and educational institution websites to identify potential candidates.
  • Screens potential provider candidates for fit to position and PHC Provider Team.
  • Communicates with provider candidates in a respectful and comprehensive manner. Creates a process to follow up with provider candidates to avoid status ambiguity and loss of connection to PHC. This includes electronic, verbal, and written communication.
  • Manages the Provider on Site Visit ensuring the Provider candidate is where they need to be and that their experience while at any of our clinics remains positive and reflective of PHC as an organization.
  • Facilitates reimbursement for visit expenses.
  • The main point of contact during the hiring process; supports include but are not limited to related offers, declines, and follow-up questions with the provider recruitment process.
  • Responsible for handing off information to the departments involved in the onboarding process.
  • Maintains communication and contact until the candidate’s start date with Petaluma Health Center.

 

All Other Recruitment

  • Writes creative job postings that align with our culture and values; attract purpose-driven applicants by placing job advertisements on applicable job boards; post on social media and community forums.
  • Works directly with leadership on hard-to-fill critical positions developing and implementing a successful recruitment strategy.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing the organization’s information, and sharing job opportunities and benefits while maintaining rapport.
  • Manages OJT and contracted college programs.
  • Works with the HR Operations Manager to coordinate Career Fairs and/or recruiting events.
  • Leads and manages the recruiting team’s ATS administration, reporting, and updating assignments.
  • Manages recruiting reporting and analytics to collect and track data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Manage the flow of candidates through the recruitment process; scheduling phone screens and interviews.
  • Provides overall recruitment education and support, ensuring a legal, unbiased interview process.
  • Develops strong working relations with hiring managers at all levels of the organization.
  • Manages the offer process for new hires.
  • Administers competency assessments for designated positions
  • Continually looks to improve processes and workflows for efficiency with the goal of retaining high-touch customer service.
  • Help ensure that every candidate has a positive experience with PHC, regardless of the hiring outcome.
  • Supports onboarding process and administration to ensure a high-quality new hire experience.
  • Pursues continuous education through maintaining current knowledge of all hiring practices and trends
  • Avoids legal risks by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; coaching hiring managers.
  • Works in coordination with HR Operations Manager on partnerships with Third-Party Recruiting

 

Required Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare recruitment with at least 3 years working in a capacity of provider recruitment and/or provider relations; or a combination of applicable education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.

 

Language Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and requests from providers, co-workers, and others as necessary.   Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal preferred.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000 per year
