We are currently looking for a Production Manager for one of our Alaska based fish processing facilities. The Production Manager will oversee the planning, coordinating and control of the manufacturing processes. They will ensure the final product is produced cost efficient and services are produced effectively. The Production Manager is accountable for both human and material resources. The incumbent sets an example for the department staff in work ethic, safety adherence, and attitude.

• Oversees the production process,
• Develops production schedule
• Ensures that production is cost effective
• Ensures that products are produced in a timely manner and are produced following quality guidelines
• Assess needs for human and material resources
• Communicates with other departments
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
• Reviewing the performance of subordinates
• Identifying training needs, and ensuring proper training is provided
• Involved in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. A large part of production management involves dealing with people.
• Other duties as assigned;

5+ year seafood production management experience
