Peter Pan Seafood Co. is currently looking for a Logistics Administrative Assistant in our Bellevue, WA corporate office. We are a fast-paced organization that has experienced rapid growth in both our Alaska operations and our value-added seafood products.
Essential Functions:
- Sales customer service frozen/canned or fresh products; order entry, booking shipments, invoicing and all parts of follow-up customer service with moderate communications with sales managers, brokers, warehouses and truckers.
- Prepare and book less than truckload, truckload, railcar and/or air sample shipments.
- Assist in maintaining EDI setup of customer database required for sales orders.
- Prepare and book stock transfers between warehouses as needed
- Prepare code to containers manifest data for containers of canned salmon to be received into local warehouses from shipping from Alaska production facilities.
- Book trucking and warehouse receiving for containers. Follow up with reconciling and entering receive quantities in our system.
- Receive and reconcile several shipments with many part codes and units of measure from Alaska simultaneously. Reconcile warehouse inventories.
- Canned label orders; accurately enter detailed alpha numeric can codes with quantities into job orders along with finished counts when job order is completed.
- Coordinating with QA product grades as needed.
- Code and audit all vendor invoices for payment to include; storage, handling all freight and vendor invoices;
- Code Alaska carrier freight invoices for payment adhering to correct production general ledger codes.
- Other tasks to include cross training to back up other Logistics department duties
Competencies: 10 key by touch, accuracy, excellent communication skills and be able to work
with a team in a dynamic sales environment with a variety of people both within and outside the
company.
Education/Experience:
Applicant must have a minimum 1-year sales support and/or inventory control
experience. Minimum of a AA degree required. Successful applicant must know 10-key by touch and have excellent communication skills; must be able to work with a team in a dynamic sales environment with a variety of people both within and outside the Company.
Training/Skills:
Establishes and maintains effective and positive relationship with internal and external
customers. Proactively acts with customers in mind and values the importance of providing
high-quality customer service. Read, speak, write, and understand English for effective
communication.

Wage: $27 - $35 per hour DOE.
