Description

Peter Pan Seafood is looking for a skilled carpenter to perform various carpentry work in King Cove, Alaska. We are looking for someone with previous carpentry experience in a professional setting to help with various maintenance and construction projects of the facilities on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient with wood working tools and common hand tools
• Creates and/or dismantle structures
• Builds or dismantles roofing or siding
• Prepares scaffolding as needed to complete projects safely
• Crates machinery for shipment
• Touch-up or do incidental painting after structure repairs
• Operates various types of lift equipment
• Understands and is able to implement safe work procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

Our King Cove plant is located in remote Alaska. King Cove is a year-round facility. You will need to be available to work 7 days per week, approximately 11 hours each day.
