‘New’ Perrigo is a Self-Care business positioned for significant growth globally and this role represents a unique career opportunity for an experienced finance professional to work closely with our DACH GM,  become a valued member of a our DACH leadership team and to influence and shape the commercial direction of our DACH business.

Role overview;

  • Leading the Accounting and Controlling departments for several entities in the DACH region
  • Development and optimization of the DACH Finance organization and support of the integration process
  • Strategic partnering with Sales and Marketing as well as influencing commercial decisions
  • Responsibility for the operational business in the area of finance such as group accounting in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP, ICT, taxes, corporate finance
  • Responsibility for the efficient reporting including regular reporting to Corporate Finance
  • Responsibility for the budget planning of all entities
  • Planning and controlling profitability by focusing on continuous improvement and cost reduction as well as increasing efficiency
  • Effective cash and liquidity management
  • Cooperation with the Management in formulating and implementing the Group's Corporate Strategy as well as in key business decisions and projects
  • Challenging the teams on opportunities for profitable sustainable growth
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial/commercial processes and systems through further automation and process standardization
  • Proactive cooperation with all relevant interfaces within the organization nationally and internationally
  • Guide the teams in forecast accuracy optimization and assist in driving correct S&OP processes
  • Contact person for external communication with e.g. banks, insurance companies, tax consultants, auditors and public authorities

Your profile 

  • Professional qualification and requisite Finance, Accounting and Controlling experience (circa 10 years) 
  • Experience of FMCG and plc environments
  • Expert knowledge on accounting, strategic and operational controlling, tax, Sarbanes-Oxley and US-GAAP
  • Strong project management experience 
  • Previous experience with SAP
  • Ability do communicate effectively across all levels of seniority
  • Commercially astute with an interest in consumer good businesses and with a desire to influence and shape the commercial direction of our business
  • A strong people manager, interested in developing and progressing our team
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
