Master Data Management Analyst

This position is responsible for assuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of one or many critical master data objects in Perrigo’s enterprise data management systems, including:

  • Monitoring data integrity and quality with analytics and creating those analytics as required
  • Acting as Master Data technical validation process owner and liaison with Perrigo IT
  • Supporting MDM processes that require data or metrics outside of SAP
  • Analyzing and maintaining master data requirements in various data management systems based on business and operational strategies
  • Participating in data transformation projects by proposing mapping rules, analyzing, and validating data
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives as a result of data analytics
  • Participating in the creation and maintenance of department guidelines, standards, and procedures


  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferred focus in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or Computer Science
  • 3- 5 years of experience in Master Data or related business knowledge
  • Must have a thorough understanding of SAP Materials Management and supply chain flow; requires understanding of SAP tables and fields and how data is used
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to analyze large amounts of data and summarize into clear conclusions and recommendations
  • Systems knowledge including, but not limited to SAP, Crystal Reports, Information Steward, Power BI or other dashboarding tools, and SharePoint, as well as the capacity to learn new reporting tools as they are introduced
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business processes or concepts into technical requirements
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong work-organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
  • Advanced in Excel, Access, Power Point, Word and other Microsoft applications
