e-Commerce Business Insights & Data Analytics Manager - Europe

We are seeking an e-Commerce Business Insights & Data Analytics Manager Europe to join our CSCI e-Commerce team. This role can be located at one of our many European locations with the majority of the existing team located at our Rotterdam office.  

This position will be responsible for the data infrastructure and insights from digital marketing and e-commerce to guide European digital & e-commerce teams to grow e-sales ahead of the market at e-retailers, margin accretive.

Key responsibilities

  • Develops, gathers, analyzes and reports data on the key performance indicators of the e-commerce channel to help guide business decisions on a European level
    • sales data
    • market shares
    • profitability
  • Setting-up robust data infrastructure for e-commerce (from scratch)
    • Enable automated, easy and trusted access to the most valuable digital and e-com data for the wider European organization
    • Setting-up the processes and managing the relationships with supporting Perrigo departments and 3rd parties
  • Engaging with countries
    • Serving-up insights and simple strategic frameworks for markets to make best business decisions related to digital marketing and e-commerce
    • Interviewing for needs and providing guidance to local teams

Initial concrete tasks

  • Professionalize e-commerce sales data reporting from our markets
    • Solid data accuracy to be presented on board level
    • Better data availability for markets: from local excel file to general access (e.g. PowerBI)
    • Including structured set-up to measure other sales channels
  • Set-up robust market share tracking to assess if we are winning
    • Online market share of Perrigo brands in key categories
    • Tracking online vs. offline market shares of key brands
  • Set-up robust e-commerce margin analysis to assess if we are more profitable than offline
    • Gross Margin of key e-retailers (on brand level) vs. offline sales
  • Unlock the incredible amount of value in our many data sources
    • Stackline category data insights
    • Amazon vendor central promotional insights
    • Pages views, conversion, re-purchase
    • Consumer reviews
    • Category keywords
    • Digital Shelf metrics: price, availability, search
  • Build the Perrigo commercial “data lake
    • Linking digital marketing to e-commerce to sell-out data sources for full funnel data analytics
    • Create simple correlation dashboards to measure digital marketing effectiveness on e-sales

Candidate profile

  • Highly self-motivated, curious and a fast learner
  • Both hands-on as well as strategic, getting things done
  • Top analytical skills, eye for detail
  • Great social skills for interviewing & relationship-building with local teams and third parties
  • Commercial experience: understand the business needs and financial drivers
    • Ideally 5+ years in CS&I, account management, or commercial finance
  • Strong Excel skills, PowerBI skills preferred
  • Speak English, local language(s) preferred
  • Location flexibility within our European office locations (to be discussed)
