Perrigo is a leading supplier of store brand self-care nutrition products. These include infant and toddler formulas, pediatric and adult nutrition drinks, and electrolyte solutions.
For more than 20 years, store brand formulas have been fed to more than seven million babies in this country. Like the big-name brands, store brand formulas are clinically studied and offer complete nutrition for baby’s first year. Our FDA-inspected infant-nutrition facilities are in Vermont and Ohio, U.S.A. Dairy ingredients are sourced from leading dairy markets across the United States, Canada, and New Zealand.
The Vice President of Operations - Perrigo Vermont & Ohio - will be responsible for site management and organizational leadership to meet or exceed customer requirements, increase profit margins, and pursue profitable growth. This leadership position helps create and support a positive work environment and organizational culture that allows all employees to engage in our mission. “To make lives better by bringing quality, affordable, self-care products that consumer trust everywhere they are sold.”
Managing all Vermont and Ohio infant formula operations to ensure financial and business goals are established, agreed and met, employee relations are maintained/enhanced, and a culture of continuous improvement is maintained/enhanced.
Delivering overall customer service that exceeds customer expectations.
Supporting and establishing growth initiatives.
Managing costs to establish and build on competitive advantages.
Utilizing Lean Sigma to reduce variation by shortening cycle times, improving service and lowering costs.
Supporting our performance management platform to increase site strength and increase personal and professional growth.
Ensure manufacturing and packaging operations comply with cGMP and Quality standards and continues to shape and encourage a committed Quality and Compliance minded environment and culture. Ensure sites comply with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
Ensure that safety and environmental policies and procedures are established and maintained in compliance with statutory obligations and best practice. Ensuring that a health, safety and environment culture is supported at all levels and regular monitoring of policies, procedures and practices takes place.
15 years’ experience in operational roles of increasing responsibility with at least 5 years’ experience in a GMP regulated environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of lean / continuous improvement principles.
Strong verbal / written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong Infant Formula or powder drying experience required.
