We are now recruiting a number of Cell Managers to work on a regular shift pattern (we have 2 positions on rotating Early / Late shift and 1 position on Night shift) at our Braunton manufacturing site.  Reporting to the Shift Manager, this important role will provide consistent high-quality leadership in a pharmaceutical manufacturing and packing environment. 

Along with leading your team, you will be working closely with the other Production Managers, as well as key staff in other departments, to ensure delivery of the overall production goals and operational plan.  We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in people, continuous improvement and delivering high levels of GMP and customer service.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in line management and leadership.  You will be leading a small team of operators with full responsibility for the people, equipment, safety and delivery of the plan in a highly regulated environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ideally hold a NVQ Level III Supervision qualification or equivalent and/or a successful track record of leadership
  • Experience working within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is also preferred
  • Knowledge of process equipment, CGMP and H&S regulations including COSHH
  • Strong results orientation with proven organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ideally experience of lean Sigma/continuous improvement.
